Guidelines:
The
Hayward Area believes in conservation of our fish, therefore, we ask that photos
that are submitted be only of fish displayed in a proper hold (see below).
Vertical holds and photos of dead fish will be rejected immediately. Fish
must be caught in the Hayward area bodies of water.
Definition
of the proper hold of a muskie:
Fish
should be held horizontally, using both hands. One hand should be holding the
jaw, while the other hand should be supporting the
fish under it's belly. Holding a fish vertically from its jaw, either with a hand or some
other tool is life threatening to the fish. See an example HERE.
How
to submit a photo:
Email

Please
include the following:
1.

Disclaimer:
Based on the volume of photos we received, not all photos will be added to our
website.
The
key to the ensuring that future generations are allowed to enjoy fishing as much
as we do, is conservation. We will soon have a link to a site where you can
learn why Catch & Release and selective harvest are important.
